Gaston Eugene Bicheray "Frenchie." Gene was born September 24, 1927 and passed away peacefully at home on December 5, 2012 at the age of 85. He served in the Army during WWII and made a lifetime career as a Longshoreman with Local 23 and retired as a Foreman with Local 98 on the Tacoma waterfront.

He married the love of his life, Lois Anne Braithwaite, in July of 1955. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, two sons, Robert (Sandy) and Richard, his granddaughters Celeste and Alyssa, two great grand-daughters, his sister June, two nieces, Carol (Paul), Carol Sue, and a nephew John (Chris) as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

He loved the outdoors and trains. He took great pride in his yard and the world will be a little less green now that he is gone.
