David James Brennan, Jr., age 78, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 of cancer. He was born July 6, 1938 in Portland, Oregon and is survived by his wife, Kay, his sisters, Rose, Jan and Dee, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David, Sr. and Anna, and twin sister Diane. David worked a total of 35 years on the waterfronts of Portland, Longview and Seattle (ILWU local 52) before retiring in 1999. 

He loved living in Seattle on First Hill and after he retired, walked downtown every day. He will be missed by all who knew him. At his request, there will be no service.
