Clemeth F. (Clem Daddy) HEAD March 19 1936 ~ December 26 2009 Clem was born of Horace and Gladys in Carrboro N Carolina. Clem grew up approx 1 mile from U of NC. He graduated from Chapel Hill HS in 54. Clem enlisted in the Navy in '55 and was Honorably Discharged in '59. Clem married Irene Jones on 7-7-57 and had 7 children (5 boys, 2 girls), they were married 24 years.
Clem enjoyed cutting and selling fire wood and did it his whole life, in fact including his sons in a family business. Clem was also a musician guitar (vocals), and was involved in many venues solo and in bands. He also performed with the family band which included sons a daughter and grandsons. In '67 Clem became a Seattle Longshoreman and he worked till retirement in '02. Along the way Clem assisted in friends and family becoming long shore persons.
All 5 sons are longshoreman. Clem became a Christian in '70 and with family joined Open door Baptist in Lynnwood. When Clem moved to Snohomish, he joined Lake Country Baptist in Lake Stevens. Clem was strong in his faith and is now rejoicing in Gods Glory. Clem married Dianne in Aug '87, and resided with her in Ocean Shores for many years before moving to Snohomish for his last years.
Clem is survived by his wife Dianne and her children Scott and Julie. First wife Irene, Children, Keith, Randy, Kim, Cary, Jeff, Kurtis, Trudy, 20 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Clems memorial celebration will be at Lake Country Baptist at 1:00 p.m. Saturday Jan. 2, 2010.
