James "Jimmy" GRIFFIN Passed away on July 23, 2002 at home with his wife Ginny by his side after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Jimmy was born on October 6th 1934 in Deadwood, South Dakota. As a young man, he spent many years on the docks of Seattle as a longshoreman.
Life moved him towards a different career path and he returned to school to become a CPA, initially with the accounting firm of Peterson Sullivan. In the early 1970's, he began an affiliation with Kennedy Associates in Seattle in which he would become Executive Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and would bring cherished relationships up until his death.
His generosity and wit touched many lives, and his laugh will be missed by all. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Ginny, his mother Fern Neville, sons George (Lisa) of Seattle, Terry (Sherry) of Florida, Phillip and Marvin of Seattle, and daughter Katie (Cory) of Yakima; five brothers and one sister, four grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. No services were held at Jimmy's request.
