Randall Edwin Hicks
He was born Aug 7, 1902 in Shine, WA and died February 4, 1983 Port Townsend, WA. On July 16, 1939 he married Margaret Voegtli and they had 5 children: Edwin (Ted), Dennis, Thomas, Sally 1944-1951, Geraldean 1945-1945. They had 9 grandchildren.

Randall was raised in Shine until he came to Seattle in late 1920’s . He was a logger in his early years and then when he came to Seattle he worked on the waterfront. He was a union man through and through He retired about 1965 and enjoyed his time at his place on Hoods Canal. His father gave land for a county park, W. R. Hicks park. He loved to beach comb every morning. He is buried in the Shine Cemetery.
