Samuel Edward Huniu 
1971 - 2020

Samuel Edward Huniuwas born September 14, 1971 in Seattle Washington to Samuel Joseph & Patricia Huniu. He was the youngest of 3 children and referred to as Sammy & Sam by many. Sam grew up in Renton, and attended Lindbergh High School, later settling & residing in Edgewood Washington.

Sam proudly followed his father’s footsteps in 1995 starting a career as a Longshoreman with the ILWU Local #19 at the Port of Seattle. Sam worked there until his passing as a steady Lines Man, tying up ships throughout the day & night at the various terminals. One of his all time favorite positions he held on the waterfront.

Sam enjoyed fishing, casinos, card rooms, lottery, dirt bikes, dogs, pulling pranks & living life to the fullest.

Sam is survived by his parents Samuel & Patricia, sister Lorie (Leo), brother Albert, children Samuel B, Sarah, Jessica, David, Justice, & Samantha, granddaughters Sophia & Ariah, Aunt Martha, nieces Madison & Miranda as well as many cousins, extended family members & his beloved dog Clifford.

Sam will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn, Washington.

Sam will be deeply missed by family & friends.
