Theodore (Ted) J. Kollmar, 64, of Tukwila, Washington, passed away on November 2, 2022. Ted was born in Seattle on April 22, 1958 and lived his entire life in the Seattle area. He is survived by his two sons Joseph R. Kollmar and Jonathon A. Kollmar his sister Melody A. Gillette (David), an aunt, a niece, great niece, nephew and a granddaughter. He is predeceased by his mother Deborah A. Johnson and his father J. Robert Kollmar. Ted, like his father, was a creative entrepreneur and had several businesses over the years. He loved the challenge of making things happen. He also was a member of the ILWU Local 19 since 2004 and served for a brief time in the U.S. Marines. Ted will be remembered as a no nonsense, tell it like it is person with a hearty laugh and a tender heart underneath. He is loved and will be missed by his family and his many friends.
