Hans Lerbrek passed away January 9, 2014 in Seattle, WA at age 94. He was born in Varhaug , Norway on April 2, 1919 to Sven and Anna Lerbrekk. Hans came to the US in 1948 and eventually settled in Seattle , WA where he worked as a longshoreman in the ILWU local 19 at the Port of Seattle . He was a life member of the Sons of Norway and enjoyed many happy times with friends at the Leif Erickson Lodge Kaffestua in Ballard.

Hans was a loving, gentle, kind and hard working husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed. We will forever remember his beautiful smile and picture him working in his garden which he was passionate about.

Hans is survived by his loving wife, Maria, his son Sven Andreas Lerbrek (Krathin), his daughter AnnaLisa Fortune (Bart), and grandchildren: Hans, Isabella and Ivy Fortune and Sven Lerbrek Jr. as well as numerous family in Norway.
