Virgil Liudahl, 79, was originally from Maddock, North Dakota. He was the son of Ted and Gladys Liudahl, one of 12 children raised on a farm. He moved to the Seattle area after he was discharged from the Army. He passed away June 11, 2008 in Burien, WA where he lived for 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann, sisters Arliss, Beulah, Darlene, Gloria, and brother Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lester, Gordon, Ardell, Mayo, Roger, and Kenneth. He worked as a longshoreman Local 19, ILWU for 25 years and retired 17 years ago. Services for Virgil will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 2PM at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Ave N Seattle, WA 98133.
