Jack Wayne Mathews Sr. Born 8/28/25 in Seattle to Floyd & Helen Mathews. Passed on 5/5/11 with his family at his side. "Handsome Jack" served honorably in the US Navy in WWII and later became a Seattle longshoreman and proud member of ILWU Local 19.

Preceded in death by parents & siblings Helen, Dan & Floyd. He is survived by his son Jack Jr; 3 grandchildren (with another due in Nov.); 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Memorial to be held at family home in Stanwood Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1 p.m.
