Donald W. MINIKEN Passed away January 12, 2006 at his home in Port Orchard, WA. Don was born on June 5, 1939 in Seattle to Harry and Kathryn Miniken. He is survived by his mother, Kay; brother, Jim; son, Don Jr.; daughter, Dayna; grandchildren, Don III, Sydney and Lila; and great-granddaughter Kailee.

In 1957, Don began his career as a longshoreman in ILWU Local 19. He later joined the ILWU Foremans Local 98 in 1968 and served as President for 19 years. He retired in 2002 and spent the rest of his days enjoying the view of the lake with his two cats, Tag and Buddy. Memorial at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Seattle Eagles Aerie #1, 6205 Corson Ave. S.
