Robert S. (Bob) NELSON Our beloved brother and Uncle Bob succumbed March 6 in the embrace of family after a feisty and valiant 12-year battle with lymphoma and emphysema. Born in 1939 and raised in Seattle, Bob worked hard all his life, especially as a member of ILWU here.

He will always be loved and remembered for his great humor, generosity and loving care of family and others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olaf & Ila Nelson. He is survived by his five siblings: Frances Kelly (Bob) of Jacksonville, FL, and Shirley Jones (Howard), Dorothy Trinen (Terry), Richard and James Nelson, all of Seattle area, as well as 31 nieces and nephews.

Our deep gratitude to Dr. Richard McGee and staff of Puget Sound Cancer Center and Stevens Hosp. staff for their devoted care of Bob. Memorial contributions suggested to Boys & Girls Town, Omaha, NB or American Cancer Society. Time and place of a celebration of Bob's life to be determined.
