Dominic T. Picinich
1919 - 2002

Dominic was born in Sansego, Italy. At the age of fourteen, he joined the Italian Merchant Marines. After 4 years of service, he came to America. He enlisted in the United State Army for three and half years with a honorable discharge in 1946. In April of that year, he married Jennie, the love of his life. Sadly, she passed in 2006.
Family, gillnetting on his boat the "Mitchie Boy", soccer, hockey, making his own wine, his garden and socializing with his countless friends throughout the years were his passions in life. He retired from ILWU Local 19 and retired from gillnetting many years later.
A loyal, honest, hard-working, energetic and fun-loving dad and grandfather, he is survived by his daughter, Janice, sons, Jim (Janet) and Dominic (Prescilla). Grandpa to Dominic, Jimmy (Kelli), Gina, Krista (Colin), Jeff (Amy). Great Grandpa to Devan, Ryan, Tori, Taylor, Jacob, Jimmy, Dominic, Addison, Sylas, and Damian. He is also survived by his sister Maria Tarabochia, Brother John, and a sister and brother-in-law Jim and Nellie Atwell.
Remembrances may be made to Northwest Kidney Foundation or Medic One.
There will be a viewing on Sunday,
November 25, immediately followed by a Rosary at the Howden-Kennedy Funeral

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 26 at Holy Rosary
Church in West Seattle 4142 42nd Avenue Southwest Seattle, WA 98116.
