Bob Sherard born 83 years ago in Jackson Hole, WY. Died Feb. 27, 2009 in Providence Hospital, Everett. As an early graduate of O’Dea High School he joined the Army Air Corps in 1944 and while in the Philippines was Golden Gloves Champion of the South Pacific. He attended Seattle University where he met Wally (Waleda Wilson), who became his wife for 60 years.

He was a loyal and dedicated member of ILWU Locals 19 and 98 for 48 years, enjoying a life of hard work, but taking time for many hunting and fishing adventures. He leaves his wife, two sons Dann (Carol M.) and Glenn (Carol L.), grandson Ryan (ILWU 32), granddaughters Cody Nelson, Tera Sekulich, and Erin Sherard; his brother Don (Marge), and many nieces and nephews.
