Timothy D. Sipes 
1958 - 2020

Timothy D. Sipes was born June 2, 1958 to Carroll and Glorice Sipes of Seattle, Washington He was one of four. His parents, sister Janice Sandles and brother Leonard Sipes precede him in death.

Timothy graduated from Roosevelt High School class of 76. After graduation he attended Highline Community College, Des Moines, Washington and Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington.

He married Mikelyn Jackson in 2001. Whom he was very devoted.

Timothy was a longshoreman of the City of Seattle. Became a member of the ILWU Local 19 in 1979 until retired in 2014. Timothy had a vibrant personality and met no strangers. He was easy to remember and hard to forget.

He was active in his community. Giving to anyone in need. His favorite charity was the Treehouse of Seattle. He was a good friend to his Brothers of Distinction, whom he loved socializing with. He loved traveling, sports events and concerts. His favorites were horseracing and boxing.

Surviving him are his loving wife Mikelyn, brother Charlie Wilbert, Aunt Doris, stepsons, Antonio, Michael and Eric , daughter in law Pamela Williams, brother in law Ray Jackson Jr., Romaine Jackson and James Dobbins. Sister in law Colletta Sipes, Wanda Ray Jackson and Terre Lynn Jackson. Nephews Shawn and Andre Sipes, Nate Jackson, Cornell, Jeffery and Malcolm Dobbins. Mother in law Vivian McMullen (A.K.A. Mrs. M.) Six grandsons and 1 granddaughter. A host of cousins whom he adored and loved.

He will truly be missed.
