David Rittenhouse TOMLINSON David was born on April 4, 1942 in Springfield, IL. David passed away in his sleep October 21, 2003. He moved to Palm Springs, CA., as a small child with his Dad, Mom and two younger brothers. David attended the University of Cal., Berkeley and went on to become the youngest branch manager for the Bank of America up to that time. He decided he would rather be a longshoreman, a career spanning more than 36 years, from which he had recently retired. David was a poet and loved nature. He was preceded in death by Dad Harry Tomlinson, mother Ruth Emerson, wife Leslie, and stepfather Henry Rhodes. He is survived by sons Eric Tomlinson, Olympia, and John Tomlinson, Chicago, Mom Christine Tomlinson Rhodes, Cal., and brothers Paul (Kay-Ellen) Tomlinson, Seattle and Mark (Gay) Tomlinson, Cal. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews and many dear friends. David, our lives are diminished with your passing. In lieu of flowers, please make remembrances to American Cancer Society.
